Hill Country Hope for Mental Health
Mental Health Crisis Number 1-877-466-0660
Operated 24 Hours a Day - 7 Days a week
A collaboration of mental health professionals, community leaders and churches working to: increase education and awareness of mental health issues, share resources, reduce stigma, remove barriers, aid in early detection and develop support groups for all affected by mental health issues.
America has come a long way in talking about mental health, yet we are still a country that too often confines mental health and addiction to the far edges of our discourse. We cannot ignore the fact that 60 percent of people with mental health conditions and nearly 90 percent of people with substance use disorders don’t receive the care they need.
Please join us Monday, December 7 at 6:30 p.m. for a (virtual) community discussion about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic (and other trying events of 2020) on our community. We will have mental health and substance abuse experts, coaches, religious and secular leaders discuss the impact of these events and strategies to cope with them in order to help us move forward in a positive direction.
